Q: why do you practice Holistic Financial Plan?
A: to cut thru ignorance
There was a guy, he went to tai chi classes, he bought books on religion, and then end up spending all his time reading fantasy novels. Why do we think about doing things that are good for us yet end up repeating the same old activities?
There is a sense of comfort doing a known task repeatedly, at the same time, there is also a doubt that whatever we do, we might be getting further away from certain possibilities.
How do I know if I’m making the right financial decisions? How do I know if my family’s future is secure? How do I know if I’m saving enough? How do I know if I got the right investments? How do I know if I got the right insurance? How?
Without a plan to based our financial decisions on, all that we do is financial ignorance. It’s like we are tweaking the car, but we do not see that we might need a plane; we’ve lost perspective.
